Sun Conjunct Saturn...

starts on September 30 (using a 1 degree orb), is exact on October 1 at 10.42am in Kilmore, leaves on October 2. Both at 7 degrees and 44 minutes of Libra.

Mmmm... personally, I really don't have the energy to deal with Saturn being further accented!  However, the Sun forming a conjunction and accenting Saturn offers an opportunity to end something, and start something new and constructive.  Although possibly annoying (a bit like a parent nagging you to do something you would rather not!), the things we do now are likely to be ultimately rewarding and good for us (as long as we do it properly).

It is important to keep in mind the overall message that Saturn in Libra has brought to you over the past year or so, because the Sun connecting with it in such a powerful way is likely to bring them to a head.

As usual, look at where this conjunction is happening in order to get a feel for what or who may be involved.  Also look to which house are ruled by the Sun (one with Leo on the cusp) and Saturn (ones with Capricorn or Aquarius on the cusp).

If you have personal planets and/or points in Libra then you may be more sensitive than others to this transit.

Sun Square Pluto...

starts on September 25 (using a 1 degree orb), is exact on September 26 at 10.26am in Kilmore, leaves on September 27.  Sun at 2 degrees and 49 minutes of Libra, Pluto at 2 degrees and 49 minutes of Capricorn.

This aspect intensifies the energies that were around a few days ago at the Full Moon, because they were within range to form an aspect back then.

A square aspect usually produces tension and sometimes conflict between the people and/or situations represented by the two planets involved... in this case the Sun and Pluto.  However, this tension can be positive in that helps us identify the root cause of a problem, meaning we can do something about it and reach a turning point in whatever is going on.

Being in cardinal signs, this suggests that there will be physical action taken... although this would depend also on which houses this aspect falls in within your own birth chart.

As usual, look at which houses are ruled by the Sun (one with Leo on the cusp) and Pluto (one with Scorpio on the cusp) to get a feel for what or who may be involved: as well as which houses these planets fall in.

If you have personal planets and/or points in Libra and/or Capricorn then you may be more sensitive than others to this transit.

Full Moon in Aries...

today in Kilmore at 7.17pm.

Yippeeeee, I've finally got Blogger to work!  Sorry for the late posting.

The Full Moon is usually a time of heightened emotions and turning points, usually because of a better objective awareness of the situations and people represented in our birth charts by this lunation.  Being in the unstable zero degree of the fiery Aries may mean that we are still on shaky ground though, particularly since Pluto squares both the Sun and Moon and forms a stressful T-Square configuration!

I think the focus for us all with this lunation is learning to balance whatever, or whoever is represented by Pluto in our birth chart - this is likely to involve a deeply emotional fear, that is also likely to be irrational.

Sun enters Libra...

today in Kilmore at 1.09pm.

The Sun changing signs is something to take notice of, since it suggests a major change in focus of where the Sun is symbolically throwing its rays (imagine a beam of light changing directions in the dark).

To get an idea of where this beam of light will be moving to, have a look at where the Sun is travelling in your chart and which house has Libra on it.

The house that has Leo on the cusp may also experience a shift in gears... the people and situations represented by this house may move from being intensely emotional and possibly stubborn (Sun in Scorpio), into being more sociable and motivated (Sun in Libra).

Sun Opposing Retrograde Uranus...

starts on September 21 (using a 1 degree orb), is exact on September 22 at 2.58am in Kilmore, leaves on September 23.

As mentioned in my previous post, the Sun accents and lights up whatever it touches, and in this case it is the erratic, exciting and unpredictable Uranus making this a period of time where you can 'expect the unexpected'!

As usual, look at where this aspect is falling in order to get a feel for what or who may be involved, and remember that oppositions usually involve at least one other person.

Also look at which houses are ruled by the Sun (one with Leo on the cusp), and Uranus (one with Aquarius on the cusp) to get a feel for what or who may be involved.

If you have personal planets and/or points in Virgo and/or Pisces then you may be more sensitive than others to this transit.

Sun Opposing Retrograde Jupiter...

starts on September 20 (using a 1 degree orb), is exact on September 21 at 9.36pm in Kilmore, leaves on September 22.  Sun at 28 degrees and 23 minutes of Virgo, retrograde Jupiter at 28 degrees and 23 minutes of Pisces.

The Sun acts like a trigger in the skies.... or a bit like a magnifying glass: whatever it touches tends to be activated or gains prominence!

Jupiter recently went back into Pisces, suggesting that we all have a second chance at the opportunities that this planet in this sign brings us, depending on our own personal birth charts.

The opposition is an aspect that associated with awareness... particularly in relation to something or someone that came into our lives when the two planets were last conjunct.  In this case, the Sun and Jupiter were last conjunct early in March 2010 at about 9 degrees of Pisces.

So, by looking at where these aspects fall we can get a better idea of what or who will reach a turning point through awareness, and will most likely involve at least one other person since the opposition is also an aspect of 'relationship'.

Also look at which houses are ruled by the Sun (house with Leo on the cusp), and Jupiter (ones with Sagittarius or Pisces on the cusp) in order to get a feel for what or who may be involved.

If you have personal planets and/or points in Virgo and/or Pisces then you may be more sensitive than others to this transit.

Mars enters Scorpio...

today in Kilmore at 8.38am.

Mars moving from the peace-keeping sign of Libra into the sign where it is stronger - Scorpio - and one known for being fixed and emotional, and sometimes vindictive and destructive, but also transformative and helpful, suggests a change in pace for the people and situations represented by this planet.

With Venus travelling in the same sign for quite some time, it seems that Mars will have the support of this planet to help soften some of the harsher ways in which Mars in Scorpio can sometimes be experienced... meaning that a person or situation represented by her in your birth chart is likely to help with the situation involving Mars.

Mars energises and activates whatever it touches, so you can expect situations and people represented by the house that Mars is travelling through and the one with Scorpio on the cusp to gain more prominence while Mars travels through Scorpio.

The change in signs suggests that the people and situations represented by the houses ruled by Mars (cusps with Aries or Scorpio on them), will become stronger, more emotional and perhaps more stable/fixed/stubborn!

If you have personal planets and/or points in Scorpio then you can expect this to be a more energetic time than usual where you may need to learn the difference between being assertive and being aggressive.

Pluto goes Direct...

today in Kilmore at 2.36pm at 2 degrees and 47 minutes of Capricorn.

Pluto went retrograde back in April earlier this year... read about this here.  Back then, there was the involvement of Saturn in Libra squaring Pluto... the good news is that this energy exchange is now over.

It suggests that now that Pluto is moving forwards, we can leave behind some of the situations represented by Saturn/Pluto being at loggerheads with each other, and start the process of rebuilding the areas of life, and relationships represented by Pluto in our lives.

It will take a while before Pluto gets back to where it went retrograde last time at 5 degrees and 25 minutes of Capricorn (early January 2011!), so it may be a while before we get back to where we started, symbolically speaking.

As usual, look at which house Pluto is travelling through in order to get a feel for what or who may be involved, and also which one is ruled by it (one with Scorpio on the cusp).  If you are a December born Capricorn you are likely to be especially sensitive to this transit.

Mercury goes Direct...

today in Kilmore at 9.09am at 5 degrees and 21 minutes of Virgo.

At long last!  Mercury is going direct (obviously I'm not a fan of it being retrograde).

Even though Mercury is going direct now, it may take a few days for things to settle down into some type of normality while Mercury picks up a bit of speed and momentum, however it may take a few weeks for things to return totally to normal (we have to wait until Mercury goes forward again to the point where it started it's backwards journey).

We can expect the people and situations represented by Mercury to begin stabilising and become more reliable.   As usual look to see where Mercury is travelling and which houses are ruled by it (ones with Gemini or Virgo on the cusp) in order to get a feel for what or who these may be.

If you have personal planets and/or points in Virgo, then you may be especially sensitive to this energy.  Gemini people may also feel this way.-

Retrograde Jupiter re-enters Pisces...

today in Kilmore at 2.49pm.

After a very brief visit to Pisces earlier this year, Jupiter is now coming back for another one.  This return visit suggests that we all will be given a second chance with the people and situations represented by Jupiter travelling through Pisces.  My first post about the visit of Jupiter through Pisces is here.

Jupiter will stay in Pisces until January 23, 2011.

Venus enters Scorpio...

today at 1.45am.

Venus moving from Libra (from a sign she loves), into Scorpio, a sign that doesn't hold much interest for her and where she isn't very comfortable suggests that the people and situations represented by her in our birth charts may not do as well as they have over the last few weeks since she entered Libra.

Since Scorpio is a fixed sign it seems that we can look forward to stability and a more solid state of affairs, or for people represented by this planet to be on more of an even ground... it is also an emotional sign, so they are likely to be more emotional in comparison to when Venus was in Libra.

If you have personal planets and/or points in Scorpio, then Venus usually brings some ease, respite, fun and/or need for pleasure in your life.  Enjoy!

Mars Trine Retrograde Neptune...

starts on September 9 (using a 1 degree orb), is exact on September 10 at 11.16am in Kilmore, leaves on September 11.  Mars at 26 degrees and 44 minutes of Libra, retrograde Neptune at 26 degrees and 44 minutes of Aquarius.

Mars and Neptune don't usually work very well together since Mars is usually association with a 'he-man' action figure type of energy, and Neptune is the nebulous and foggy energy that is difficult to pin down.  However, the trine aspect between suggests that they can both work well together while connecting in this way.

It suggests that we all have the opportunity to achieve (Mars) or at least get closer to a special dream, creative pursuit or person (Neptune) as represented by these energies in our own birth charts.  Connecting with others may be the key since these planets are in air signs.

As usual, look at where this aspect falls in your birth chart and which houses are ruled by Mars (ones with Aries and Scorpio on the cusp) and Neptune (one with Pisces on the cusp) in order to get a feel for what or who may be involved.

If you have personal planets and/or points in Libra and/or Aquarius, then you may be especially sensitive to this transit.

Retrograde Jupiter Conjunct Retrograde Uranus...

starts on September 8 (using a 1 degree orb), is exact on September 19 at 11.03am in Kilmore, leaves on September 30.  Both retrograde at 28 degrees and 42 minutes of Pisces.

Jupiter and Uranus were conjunct earlier this year in June, but in Aries.  Here is the link to my previous post.

As I mentioned in my previous post, Jupiter tends to magnify whatever it touches.  Unlike the previous conjunction that happened in the fiery Aries, this one is in the softer sign of Pisces which will help to dampen down any tendency for explosiveness!

As usual you can look to see where this conjunction  falls in your birth chart (and which houses are ruled by Jupiter - ones with Sagittairus or Pisces on the cusp; and Uranus - one with Aquarius on the cusp, to get a feel for what or who may be putting your life into warp speed!

If you have personal planets or points in Pisces (especially the very late degrees) then you are likely to be especially sensitive to this energy.

New Moon in Virgo...

today at 8.30pm at 15 degrees and 40 minutes of Virgo.

The time around a New Moon is generally one of making a fresh start, particularly in relation to the sign that it falls in... in this case Virgo.  The search for purity, perfection and/or a practical way of working with things are all themes linked with this sign.

Also, look at where this lunation is falling in your birth chart to get a feel for where you can make a personal fresh start.  For example, I have it falling in my 4th House, so I can think about how or what I would like to change about myself at a deep level and/or how a fresh start with family members could be approached.  Of course there are many ways in which this could be experience, these are just examples.

Looking at the aspects coming along with this New Moon you will see that the retrograde Mercury is part of the lunation... suggesting that you can expect to change something about a new project that comes into your life now at some stage later on down the track.  You may change your mind, or someone else could, about the situation.  The trine from the Nodes and Pluto bode well for support and progress with our endeavours.

If you have personal planets and/or points in Virgo, this New Moon is likely to be especially significant for you.

Venus Trine Retrograde Neptune...

starts on September 3 (using 1 degree orb), is exact on September 5 at 3.11am in Kilmore, leaves on September 6.  Venus at 26 degrees and 53 minutes of Libra, retrograde Neptune at 26 degrees and 53 minutes of Aquarius.

This is a lovely, gentle energy to have happening and suggests that we will have the opportunity to successfully connect with the beautiful Neptunian themes in our lives!

Venus tends to be a easy-going energy and is quite happy in Libra, so suggests something or someone that brings comfort or pleasure into our lives... the connection to Neptune, an emotional and artistic energy through the flowing trine suggests that there will be a positive connection between the two people or themes represented by these planets in your birth chart.

As usual look at where this aspect is falling in your birth chart to get a feel for what or who will bring a bit of fun and enjoyment into your life.  Also look at which houses are ruled by Venus (ones with Taurus or Libra on the cusp) and Neptune (one with Pisces on the cusp).

If you have personal planets and/or points in Libra and/or Aquarius then you may be especially sensitive to this transit.

Sun Conjunct Retrograde Mercury...

starts on September 3 (using a 1 degree orb), is exact on the same day at 10.35pm in Kilmore, leaves on September 4.  Both at 10 degrees and 54 minutes of Virgo.

The conjunction of the Sun and Mercury is part of the retrograde cycle of Mercury, and highlights the Mercury themes and people in our lives.  It is important during this time to NOT jump to conclusions and have patience because the information we are getting may be incorrect or misinterpreted, or the person involved simply confused or uncertain.

As usual, look at where this conjunction is happening to get a feel for what or who may be involved, and also which houses are ruled by the Sun (one with Leo on it) and Mercury (ones with Gemini or Virgo on the cusp).  If you have personal planets and/or points in Virgo then you may feel this conjunction more than others.
