Venus Square Neptune...

starts on January 3 (using a 1 degree orb), is exact on January 4 at 7.27pm in Kilmore, leaves on January 5. Venus at 26 degrees and 49 minutes of Scorpio, Neptune at 26 degrees and 49 minutes of Aquarius.

Venus, the planet associated with enjoyment and pleasure connecting with Neptune can be the best thing in the world, but it can also create problems because we are not viewing certain challenges clearly.  Neptune tends to cloud and confuse whatever it touches, but it can also move us on to new heights: however, the square aspect tends to suggest the first option.

By looking at which houses are involved - ie, which houses Venus and Neptune are travelling through, and also which houses are ruled by these planets (Venus = ones with Taurus or Libra on the cusp, Neptune = house cusp with Pisces on it) you can also get a feel for what or who may be a source of confusion for you.  It may be better that you make a major decision (especially with Mercury just coming out of being retrograde), involving these people and areas of your life for another time.

Those of you with personal planets in Scorpio and/or Aquarius may feel this energy as especially prominent.

Mercury goes Direct...

on December 30 at 6.21pm in Kilmore.

Even though Mercury is going direct now, it may take a few days for things to settle down into some type of normality while Mercury picks up a bit of speed and momentum, however it may take a few weeks for things to return totally to normal (we have to wait until Mercury goes forward again to the point where it started it's backwards journey).

We can expect the people and situations represented by Mercury to begin stabilising and become more reliable.   As usual look to see where Mercury is travelling and which houses are ruled by it (ones with Gemini or Virgo on the cusp) in order to get a feel for what or who these may be.

If you have personal planets and/or points in Sagittiarus, then you may be especially sensitive to this energy.  Gemini people may also feel this way.

Mars Square Saturn...

starts on December 29 (using a 1 degree orb), is exact on December 30 at 2.29am in Kilmore, leaves on December 31.  Mars at 16 degrees and 33 minutes of Capricorn, Saturn at 16 degrees and 33 minutes of Libra.

Mars is the planet of action, passion, getting things done, acting before thinking, drive, direction, etc and gives us the direction we need in life to focus our energies. Saturn is often associated with responsibility, slowing down, thinking before acting, and structure.

These two planets like to get things done but have a very different approach to each other, making the connection between them frustrating - especially through the square which suggests that they will be working at cross-purposes to each other. This is likely to be an extremely frustrating and irritating period of time for everyone when we will probably feel blocked and unable to move ahead on our current path.

By looking at which houses Mars and Saturn are in you can get a feel for where you can expect this tension to be experienced.  Also look at which houses have Aries, Scorpio, Capricorn and Aquarius on the cusps for more information if you need it.

If you have personal planets and/or points in Capricorn and/or Aries then you may feel this transit more keenly than others.

Jupiter Conjunct Uranus...

starts on December 26 (using a 1 degree orb), is exact on January 4 at 11.53pm in Kilmore, leaves on January 13.  Both at 27 degrees and 2 minutes of Pisces.

This is the last in a serious of three conjunctions between Jupiter and Uranus that have been around for more than six months now.  The first one was on May 31, 2010 and was at 0 degrees and 17 minutes of Aries.  The second one was on September 8 at 28 degrees and 42 minutes of Pisces, and both planets were retrograde.  This is likely to be the most productive of the three conjunctions, since we are more in tune and open to the energies involved now.  Also note that both planets are moving direct... suggesting that situations involving them should now be moving forwards!

Have a look at the last entry regarding this conjunction here.

Sun Conjunt Pluto...

starts on December 26 (using a 1 degree orb), is exact on December 27 at 12.04pm in Kilmore, leaves on December 28.  Both at 5 degrees and 9 minutes of Capricorn.

The Sun accents and energises whatever it touches in the sky and in the birthchart... illuminating it and bringing the themes represented by the involved energies to consciousness.  Pluto usually represents emotionally intense and transformational themes.

By looking at where this Sun and Pluto conjunction is happening (and which houses are ruled by these planets) you can get an idea of what/who is coming together, and also what is being given a bit of boost in the process of transformation.

Sun enters Capricorn...

on December 22 at 10.38am in Kilmore.

A shift in sign of the Sun is always something to pay attention to, since it acts as a focussing beam of light on whatever it touches on in our birth chart.  Look at which house the Sun is travelling through and which one has Capricorn on it to get a feel for what or who may be more prominent over the next few weeks.

Keep in mind that Mars is also traveling through Capricorn along with Pluto, so this is likely to be quite an intense time with the themes represented by the houses involved.

The Sun rules Leo, so the house cusp with Leo on it will also be affected by this change in sign.  It seems that whatever or whoever is represented by this house will shift gears... from being Sagittarian to more Capricornian.

Retrograde Mercury Square Jupiter...

starts on December 21 (using a 1 degree orb), exact on December 22 at 11.59am in Kilmore, leaves on December 23.  Retrograde Mercury at 25 degrees and 20 minutes of Sagittarius, Jupiter at 25 degrees and 20 minutes of Pisces.

Since Mercury is retrograde, this energy pattern happened recently... on November 26 and will repeat again once Mercury turns direct later this month.  You can find the original post from the last Mercury/Jupiter square here.

The difference this time is that the person and situations represented by Mercury look as though they will be regressing as part of developments now.

Full Moon and Lunar Eclipse in Sagittarius...

on December 21 at 7.13pm in Kilmore.

The energies around us all during the period of a Full Moon are all more powerful, with emotions in particularly being heightened.  Since this is also a lunar eclipse, this is exceptionally true.

This lunation falls in the final degree of Sagittarius, giving this changeable Sagittarian Full Moon an even more unstable or uncertain feel to it.  It seems the key to achieving some sort of balance is in handling the Jupiter/Uranus conjunction that forms the focal point of this transiting T-Square.

By looking at this Jupiter/Uranus conjunction by house position, and also which houses they rule (Jupiter = Sagittarius and Pisces, Uranus = Aquarius) you can look at which areas of your life or which people may be pivotal to handling this Full Moon successfully.

Retrograde Mercury square Uranus...

starts on December 20 (using a 1 degree orb), is exact on December 21 at 10.30am in Kilmore, leaves on December 22.  Retrograde Mercury at 26 degrees and 46 minutes of Sagittarius, Uranus at 26 degrees and 46 minutes of Pisces.

Since Mercury is retrograde, this aspect is a repeat of the same one that happened on November 28, the only difference being that Mercury is retrograde this time around, while Uranus is now direct.  The aspect actually falls in the same degree as last time.  Read the post here.

Sun Conjunct Retrograde Mercury...

starts on December 20 (using a 1 degree orb), is exact on December 20 at 12.23pm in Kilmore, leaves on December 20.  Both at 28 degrees and 2 minutes of Sagittarius.

Whatever the Sun touches tends to come into prominence in our lives, and the conjunction is a powerful connection that suggests the end of something old, and the beginning of something new.

Mercury represents our thinking, attitude and ability to communicate in general with the world around us, and also to connect with it.  Personally, it represents the people and situations as shown by which houses are ruled by it (house cusps with Gemini or Virgo on them).  Since Mercury is currently retrograde, and will be until the end of the month, it seems that the themes represented by it will have gone back to a previous state, or you will need to review them.

Also look at the house that the conjunction is falling in, and the one with Sagittarius on the cusp in order to get a feel for where a new start is needed.

Retrograde Mercury re-enters Sagittarius...

on December 19 at 1.53am in Kilmore.

Just when you thought you'd settled all your 'Mercury in Sagittarius' stuff, here we go again!  Whatever was keeping you busy while Mercury was travelling through this sign is likely to need a review and perhaps rehashing because someone has changed their minds, or the circumstances have changed.

Mercury won't start moving forwards until the end of the month, so it seems that we are all in for a long period of renegotiations.  The good news is that this planet moving backwards is a good one for reviewing past decisions associated with the people and themes represented by the house that Mercury is travelling through, and the houses with Sagittarius, Gemini and/or Virgo on the cusp.

Sun Square Uranus...

starts on December 18 (using a 1 degree orb), is exact on December 19 at 5.48am in Kilmore, leaves on December 20.  Sun at 26 degrees and 44 minutes of Sagittarius, Uranus at 26 degrees and 44 minutes of Pisces.

As I have mentioned in a lot of my posts, the Sun can act as a trigger for setting off the longer term energies in the sky... and this is what we can expect now as the Sun makes contact with Uranus through this dynamic square.

The square usually represents a period of tension, which then leads to a change because we recognise that something needs to be altered.  In this case it seems that we need to change our ATTITUDE to something: this something is likely to be indicated by the themes and people represented by the Sun and Uranus.

As usual, look to see where this aspect is falling in your birth chart and which houses are ruled by the Sun (one with Leo on the cusp) and Uranus (one with Aquarius on the cusp) in order to get a feel for what or who may be involved.

If you have personal planets and/or points in Sagittarius and/or Pisces then you may feel this aspect more strongly than others.

Wednesday, December 15, 2010

Sun Square Jupiter...

starts on December 16 (using a 1 degree orb), is exact on December 17 in Kilmore at 8.47am, leaves on December 18.  Sun at 24 degrees and 49 minutes of Sagittarius, Jupiter at 24 degrees and 49 minutes of Pisces.

The Sun acts as a trigger to the longer term energies operating in the sky... in this case the expansive Jupiter is being touched by this illuminating planet.  Jupiter is about opportunity, growth, joy and if taken too far, lack of boundaries, arrogance and/or taking on more than we can handle in the long term.

The square aspect is a dynamic and energetic one, further adding the potential to take things a bit too far with this Jupiter energy!  It is important to keep the areas of life and relationships represented by Jupiter in your birth chart 'realistic' at this time.  The square also represents a period of tension, but also resolution and a turning point being reached (in this case it is likely that a change in the way you do things is needed).

As usual, look to see where this aspect is happening in your birth chart to get a feel for what or who will be the scene for a bit of stress, but resolution.  Also look to see which houses are ruled by the Sun (one with Leo on the cusp) and Jupiter (ones with Sagittarius and/or Pisces on the cusp).

If you have personal planets or points in Sagittarius and/or Pisces then you may feel this aspect more strongly than others.

Retrograde Mercury Conjunct Mars...

starts on December 13 (using a one degree orb), is exact on December 14 at 3.10pm in Kilmore, leaves on December 15.  Both at 4 degrees and 41 minutes of Capricorn.

The first thing that comes to mind with this combination is that we all have to make sure we don't become too quick to open our mouths before thinking!  However, being in Capricorn we at least are likely to have at least a millisecond to think before opening our mouths!

Mercury represents our thinking and the way we communicate with the people and world around us... while Mars is a pretty fiery and impulsive character.  Although irritating or upsetting, however, sometimes things need to be said!  The conjunction offers the opportunity for a fresh start in the areas affected by these planets and to make this fresh start we may all need to clear the air and make sure matters are clear to everyone involved.

As usual look at which house this conjunction is falling in and which houses are ruled by the planets involved (Mercury = house cusps with Gemini or Virgo on them, Mars = house cusps with Aries or Scorpio on them).

If you have personal planets and/or points in Capricorn then you may feel this aspect more strongly than others.  Also, keep in mind that this aspect joins forces with the current Mars/Pluto conjunction that I just posted about!  What a combination!!!

Mars Conjunct Pluto...

starts on December 13 (using a 1 degree orb), is exact on December 14 at 3.10pm in Kilmore, leaves on December 16.  Both at 4 degrees and 41 minutes of Capricorn.

Mars and  Pluto joining forces is a bit like leaving a pressure cooker alone unattended for too long... you must keep an eye on it and allow some pressure to release so it doesn't explode!

Both planets are pretty 'energetic' but in different ways... Mars tends to be 'in your face', while Pluto is more subtle, but deeply powerful.  The combination of the two suggests a powerful new start (conjunction) somewhere in your life - most likely as represented by the house position of this meeting of Mars/Pluto.  Obviously, the more conscious and understanding you can be with this energy, the more you will get out of it.
You may also want to look at which houses are ruled by these planets (ones with Aries or Scorpio on the cusp) in order to get a feel for what or who holds the chance for a powerful new start.

If you have personal planets and/or points in Capricorn, this is an especially powerful time for you.

Mercury goes Retrograde...

on December 10 at 11.04pm in Kilmore at 5 degrees and 56 minutes of Capricorn.

Timing is everything!  Mercury going retrograde just as we enter the festive season is a little warning bell to double check all your purchases, keep your receipts, etc because it is more likely than usual that we will make those impulse buys that are regretted later, or perhaps that we buy the wrong model, or buy faulty electrical goods that don't perform like they should.  Mercury will go back to normal at the end of the month, but won't be fully operational for another week or so after then.  This is two festive seasons in a row with Mercury retrograde!

Mercury retrograde is generally a period of time to double check communications in general, and to watch and wait in regards to the areas of your own life being affected by this transit.  Look at which house this planet is travelling through and which one has Capricorn on the cusp... also the houses with Gemini and Virgo on the cusps in order to get a feel for what or who may be particularly sensitive to this retrograde period.

If you have personal planets and/or points in Capricorn then you are likely to be especially sensitive or prone to mix-ups or a feeling of confusion/uncertainty.

The good new is that the retrograde period of time is excellent for reviewing and going over the past, in terms of the themes represented by the symbolism of your own birth chart.

Mars enters Capricorn...

on December 8 at 10.49am.

Mars moving from the fiery and changeable sign of Sagittarius into the hard-working, earthy and practical sign of Capricorn does suggest that we all have the opportunity to put our 'elbow-grease' efforts (Mars) into good use and to make progress (Capricorn) in the areas affected by this change of signs.

This planet is associated with action, movement, progress and things moving along... look at which house Mars is travelling through and which house has Capricorn on it to see where you can expect things to 'fire up'!

The houses with Aries and Scorpio on the cusps are likely to affected by this change in signs as well... the people and situations represented by them are likely to be more stable, practical and easier to move ahead with.

If you have personal points and/or planets in Capricorn then you can expect the themes associated with them to become more prominent and busy.

Uranus goes Direct...

on December 6 at 12.50pm at 26 degrees and 40 minutes of Pisces.

Uranus, the rebel and eccentric planet, goes direct after being retrograde for many months.  This change from backward to forward motion suggests that whatever or whoever is represented in our birth charts is going to get moving again after a long period of regression.

Look to see which house Uranus is traveling through to see who or what should begin making progress again, and also to which house/s are ruled by Aquarius.

New Moon in Sagittarius...

on December 6 at 4.36am in Kilmore at 13 degrees and 28 minutes of Sagittarius.

A New Moon is always associated with the chance to start afresh... depending on which sign the lunation is falling in and which house in your natal chart, this is likely to be a different fresh start.

Being in Sagittarius, this new start may mean including a bit more freedom, inspiration and meaning into your life... learning to be more flexible and open to these themes is likely to be important.

The sextile from Saturn to this New Moon bodes well for whatever new is starting in your life (depending on the symbolism within your own birth chart).  It suggests help from a stabilising person or influence that will help build a solid foundation, and perhaps provide guidance.

Saturday, December 4, 2010

Mercury Conjunct Pluto...

starts on December 5 (using a 1 degree orb), is exact on December 6 at 12.20pm in Kilmore, leaves on December 8.  Both at 4 degrees and 24 minutes of Capricorn.

The planet of communication meeting up with the intensely emotional and complex Pluto is likely to be a period of time where we all have the opportunity to understand something or someone at a deeper level than we have in the past.  The conjunction represents something new, perhaps a new person, relationship, level of understanding or even a new offer of some type.

To get an idea of what this new thing may be, look to see where this conjunction is happening and also to which houses are ruled by Mercury (Gemini and Virgo) and Pluto (Scorpio).  Intense times!!

Don't forget that Mercury is about to go retrograde so will soon be back for another dose of Pluto starting on December 12, and becoming exact on December 14 at 3.05pm in Kilmore, leaving on December 16... also, we have a Mars/Pluto conjunction happening this week as well!  Hang onto your hat!

Thursday, December 2, 2010

Mars Square Retrograde Uranus...

starts on December 2 (using a 1 degree orb), is exact on December 4 at 1.01am in Kilmore, leaves on December 5. Mars at 26 degrees and 40 minutes of Sagittarius, retrograde Uranus at 26 degrees and 40 minutes of Pisces.

Mars travelling through the fiery sign of Sagittarius may contribute to the ignition of a volatile, 'electrical' situation... the combination of Mars and Uranus looks as though it will provide the spark that will ignite an unexpected and exciting turning point in the areas represented by your birth chart.  Neither one of these energies is exactly a shrinking violet, so it seems that this is likely to be a bit of a roller-coaster ride period of time.

Squares generally represented a period tension, following by a turning point and growth. So, by looking at where this aspect is falling and which houses are ruled by them, we can get a feel for where we can expect the air to clear. Mars rules the houses with Aries or Scorpio on the cusp, Uranus rules the house with Aquarius on the cusp.

If you have personal planets and/or points in Sagittarius or Pisces then you may be more sensitive than others to this transit.

Mercury enters Capricorn...

on December 1 at 11.10am in Kilmore.

Mercury, the planet associated with our thinking and approach to life as well as the way we communicate, moving in the serious sign of Capricorn isn't exactly a light-hearted mix!  So, it seems we are all in for some 'serious thinking' time.  It's important to keep in mind that Mercury will go retrograde around the 10th, so whatever is going on which your Mercury in Capricorn themes will most likely be a bit confusing or there will be delays in sorting them out.

Since Mercury tends to make whatever it touches on busier than usual, look at which house it is travelling through and the one with Capricorn on the cusp to get a feel for where you can expect a busier pace.

Also look at which houses have Gemini and Virgo on the cusps, since these are likely to be affected by Mercury changing signs... the themes and people represented by them are likely to be more 'Capricorn' while it travels through this sign.

If you have personal planets and/or points in Capricorn then you can expect the pace of life to pick up while Mercury travels through this sign.

Sunday, November 28, 2010

Venus enters Scorpio...

on November 30 at 11.33am in Kilmore.

Venus made a short visit to Scorpio from September 9 where she went retrograde (see this post) and went back into Libra on November 9 and has been there since today.

So, it looks like we have another chance at making the most of this lovely planet travelling through Scorpio.  Look at which house she is travelling through to get a feel for where to expect things and relationships to improve!

Saturday, November 27, 2010

Mars Square Jupiter...

starts on November 28 (using a 1 degree orb), is exact on November 30 at 1.51am in Kilmore, leaves on December 1. Mars at 23 degrees and 41 minutes of Sagittarius, Jupiter at 23 degrees and 41 minutes of Pisces.

Both of these planets are energetic, vigourous and like some action and the both connecting through a highly energetic aspect suggests that we all need to watch that we don't, or haven't already, bitten off more than we can chew!  They also tend to be a bit on the impatient side, so it's important not to rush things at this stage.

Having said all of this though, it seems that it IS the time to take action in at least some ways... I think that as long as we remain conscious of what is going on around us then we are more likely to use this energy constructively rather than wasting it through hasty actions.

As usual, look at where this aspect is in your birth chart and which houses are ruled by the planets involved (Mars = ones with Aries or Scorpio on the cusp, Jupiter = ones with Sagittarius or Pisces on the cusp) in order to get a feel for what or who may be involved in this turning point.

If you have personal planets and/or points in Sagittarius and/or Pisces then you may be more sensitive than others to this turning point.

Thursday, November 25, 2010

Mercury Square Retrograde Uranus...

starts on November 27 (using a 1 degree orb), is exact on November 28 at 1.27pm in Kilmore, leaves on November 29.  Mercury at 26 degrees and 41 minutes of Sagittarius, retrograde Uranus at 26 degrees and 41 minutes of Pisces.

Electric shocks' is what comes to mind when I think of this combination!  It seems that the news and insights (Mercury) that comes to us now will challenge (square) and electrify (Uranus) us in some way - most probably through the people and situations represents by these planets in your birth chart.  Both of these planets tend to act and move quickly so whatever is going on is likely to finish just as quickly as it started.

As usual, look to see where this aspect is falling to get an idea of what or who may be involved, and also to which houses are ruled by Mercury (ones with Gemini or Virgo on the cusp), and Uranus (one with Aquarius on the cusp).

If you have personal planets and/or points in Sagittarius and/or Pisces then you may feel this energy more strongly than others.

Tuesday, November 23, 2010

Mercury Square Jupiter...

starts on November 25 (using a 1 degree orb), is exact on November 26 at 1.18am in Kilmore, leaves on November 26.  Mercury at 23 degrees and 34 minutes of Sagittarius, Jupiter at 23 degrees and 34 minutes of Pisces.

Mercury, the planet associated with data, communication and our thinking connecting with the expansive, optimistic and happy-go-lucky Jupiter is usually a good thing, causing us all to feel more optimist than usual.  However, too much of anything is not productive in most cases!

The combination of these two energies through the dynamic square adds further fuel to this already powerful connection.  It seems that we will all need to watch for exaggeration, taking things too far and perhaps blowing things out of proportion.

However, the square also represents a turning point being reached with the people and situations represented by these two energies in your birth chart.

By looking at which houses Mercury and Jupiter are travelling through, and which ones they rule (Mercury = Gemini or Virgo on the cusp; Jupiter = Sagittarius or Pisces on the cusp) you can get an idea of what or who may need moderation!

If you have personal planets or points in Sagittarius and/or Pisces then you may need to pay particular attention to these themes.

Sunday, November 21, 2010

Sun enters Sagittarius...

on November 22 at 9.15pm in Kilmore.

A shift in sign of the Sun is a bit like shining a beam of light in the dark and changing which direction it is pointing in!

So, whichever house the Sun is travelling through or the house with Sagittiarus on the cusp looks like it will be a big focus for you while it is making a visit.  The house with Leo on the cusp is also likely to experience a shift from being Scorpio (fixed, stubborn, emotional and hard to understand) to being more Sagittarian (open, easier to understand, fiery).

Full Moon in Taurus...

on November 22 at 4.27am in Kilmore at 29 degrees and 17 minutes of Taurus.

The period around the Full Moon is traditionally one where emotions are heightened and a new level of awareness is achieved in the areas affected by it.

Being in a fixed sign suggests that stability, or even lack of flexibility may be a theme to be explored around this time... and you will also notice that this lunation is at the final degree of Taurus, suggesting a bit of instability or uncertainty.  I know this is a bit of a contradiction, but life is also full of contradictions!

Also, this Full Moon involves a T-Square with the Neptune/Chiron conjunction - suggesting a need to focus on the people and situations represented by these planets in your birth chart.  This configuration suggests that they key to achieving balance will be found there, possibly through working through issues around confusion/deception.

The support of the Jupiter/Uranus conjunction is suggested through the sextile to the Moon/trine to the Sun: so we can use this energy as suggested by the house placement in our birth charts.  For example if you have this conjunction in your 7th house then it may be wise to listen to what others have to say in terms of a confusing and possibly stagnent situation in your life.

Mercury Conjunt Mars...

starts on November 19 (using a 1 degree orb), is exact on November 21 at 5.53am in Kilmore, leaves on November 22. Both at 17 degrees and 07 minutes of Sagittarius.

The first thing that comes to mind with this combination is that we all have to make sure we don't become too quick to open our mouths before thinking!

Mercury represents our thinking and the way we communicate with the people and world around us... while Mars is a pretty fiery and impulsive character: the fact that they are travelling through Sagittarius adds fuel to the fire as well.  The energetic conjunction is also a bit like adding a spark to a load of fuel!

If you have personal planets and/or points in Sagittarius then you may feel this aspect more strongly than others.

Thursday, November 18, 2010

Venus goes Direct...

on November 19 in Kilmore at 8.18am at 27 degrees and 39 minutes of Libra.

Like Jupiter moving forward, Venus doing the same islikely to mean that whatever or whoever is represented by and affected by it in your birth chart, will also begin to make progress and move forwards again.  Look at which house she is travelling through and also the one with Libra on the cusp, as well as the house with Taurus on the cusp in order to get a feel for what or who may be involved.

If you have personal planets and/or points in Libra then you may be more sensitive to the benefits that are likely to come through this movement forwards!

Monday, November 15, 2010

Sun Trine Retrograde Jupiter...

starts on November 15, is exact on November 16 at 10.44am in Kilmore, leaves on November 17.  Sun at 22 degrees and 31 minutes of Scorpio, retrograde Jupiter at 22 degrees and 31 minutes of Pisces.

As I have mentioned in other posts, the Sun highlights whatever it touches... a bit like a beam of light coming out of the Sun, and reaching into the darkness and bringing to light something that the beam touches on.  In this case the beam of light is landing nicely on Jupiter!

Jupiter is associated with growth, opportunity and apparent luck... so the Sun is likely to be showing us where our opportunities are at this point in our lives.  By looking at where these planets are we can get a feel for what or who is bringing us joy and/or growth.

Also look to the houses ruled by the Sun (one with Leo on the cusp), and Jupiter (ones with Sagittarius or Pisces on the cusp) to get more information.

If you have personal planets and/or points in Scorpio or Pisces then you are likely to feel this lovely energy more strongly than others!

Sunday, November 14, 2010

Jupiter goes Direct...

on November 19 at 3.54am in Kilmore at 23 degrees and 29 minutes of Pisces.

What a day it is today... not only is Jupiter going direct today - so is Venus!  A double whammy of the lucky planets moving forward is certainly something to look forward to.

Jupiter moving forward is likely to mean that whatever or whoever is represented by and affected by it in your birth chart, will also begin to make progress and move forwards again.  Look at which house Jupiter is travelling through and also the one with Pisces on the cusp, as well as the house with Sagittarius on the cusp in order to get a feel for what or who may be involved.

If you have personal planets and/or points then you may be more sensitive to the benefits that are likely to come through this movement forwards!

Saturday, November 13, 2010

Sun Trine Retrograde Uranus...

starts on November 18 (using a 1 degree orb), is exact on November 19 at 4.57pm in Kilmore, leaves on November 20.  Sun at 26 degrees and 47 minutes of Scorpio, retrograde Uranus at 26 degrees and 47 minutes of Pisces.

This is a lovely, easy-going connection between the Sun and Uranus... and is likely to highlight and bring to our attention to silver-lining that Uranus has brought into our lives recently.

The Sun tends to highlight whatever it touches, and the connection between it and Uranus suggests that for one reason or another you will need to focus on the themes and people represented by Uranus in your birth chart.  The trine aspect tends to remove barriers to progress, so it seems that whatever or whoever is represented by the Sun, will help to make progress with our Uranus stuff.

As usual, look to see which houses these planets are in, and which houses they rule (Sun = Leo on the cusp, Uranus = Aquarius on the cusp) in order to get a feel for where you can expect nice surprises or unexpected progress.

If you have personal planets or points in Scorpio or Pisces, then you may be more sensitive than others to this transit.

Sun Square Neptune...

starts on November 17 (using a 1 degree orb), is exact on November 18 at 8.54pm in Kilmore, leaves on November 19.  Sun at 25 degrees and 56 minutes of Scorpio, Neptune at 25 degrees and 56 minutes of Aquarius.

Imagine driving through a thick fog and naively thinking that putting your high beam on will help you see more clearly... this is a bit of what this transit may be like: the thick fog is Neptune, and the high beam is the Sun!  It seems that an area of our life or a certain person (Neptune) is the scene for confusion, lack of clarity and/or even deception.  However hard we try to look at it clearly (Sun) it seems that we make it worse by trying too hard!  The square aspect suggests that a turning point is going to be reached though... it seems that the best approach is to stick to facts.

As usual look at which houses the planets are travelling through in order to get a feel for where the 'fog' is (Neptune) and where you may be looking too hard (Sun).  Also look at the houses ruled by Neptune (one with Pisces on the cusp, and the Sun (one with Leo on the cusp).

If you have personal planets/points in Scorpio and/or Aquarius then you may be especially prone to 'foggy' vision!

Mercury enters Sagittarius...

today in Kilmore at 10:43am.

The move of Mercury the Messenger from the intense and secretive sign of Scorpio into the more open and fiery sign of Sagittarius suggests a change in the way we think and communicate with the world around us.  It also suggests a change in the way we experience the people and situations in the houses ruled by Mercury (ones with Gemini or Virgo on the cusp).

The people and situations represented by these houses are more likely to be more open, flexible and expressive than they have been in the last few weeks, or simply easier to understand.  The house that has Sagittarius on the cusp and the people/situations represented by it are also likely to be busier while Mercury travels through this sign.

If you have personal planets and/or points in Sagittarius then you can expect life to be busier than usual.

Retrograde Venus enters Libra...

today in Kilmore at 2.06pm.

Retrograde Venus moving back into Libra suggests that the people and situations represented by her are going back to a better position and/or situation, since she prefers to be in Libra rather than Scorpio.

If you think back to when she was in Libra last time you may get a feel for what to expect... it may be a second chance of some sort that will end up being beneficial to all involved in the long run, even if it is a bit annoying having to 'regress' to a previous situation.

Mercury Trine Retrograde Uranus...

starts on November 6 (using a 1 degree orb), is exact on November 7 in Kilmore at 11.15am, leaves on November 8.  Mercury at 27 degrees and 1 minutes of Scorpio and retrograde Uranus at 27 degrees and 1 minute of Pisces.

Mercury and Uranus both share a common 'feel' in that they are 'airy' and tend to stir up activity in whatever they touch on in our birth charts.  The easy connection through the trine aspect suggests that we can expect positive movement and developments in the areas of the chart affected by these two planets.

Uranus also tends to bring things up to 'warp-speed', so to speak!  Unusual or expected developments are common with this influence, but because of the easy-going trine these are likely to be welcome ones.

As usual look at which houses these planets fall in and which ones are ruled by them (Mercury = house cusps with Gemini or Virgo, Uranus = house cusp with Aquarius on it) in order to get a feel for what and/or or who may be involved.

If you have personal points and/or planets in Scorpio and/or Pisces then you may be especially sensitive to this transit.

New Moon in Scorpio...

today in Kilmore at 3.52pm.

This type of lunation is usually associated with making a fresh start, and being in Scorpio it is likely to be one that helps us to transform something, or to gain a much deeper understanding of whatever (or whoever) is involved.

I notice that the New Moon chart is lacking in aspects, particularly any strong ones to the actual lunation which to me, can suggest a couple of things.

Firstly, it could mean that we have little support in making this new start - you would have to take into account which house this lunation falls in.

Secondly, it may mean that whatever is going on, that it will be INTENSE!  Especially being Scorpio, a naturally intense and powerful sign.

Mercury Trine Retrograde Jupiter...

starts on November 4 (using a 1 degree orb), is exact on November 5 at 8.46am in Kilmore, leaves on November 6.  Mercury at 23 degrees and 49 minutes of Scorpio, retrograde Jupiter at 23 degrees and 49 minutes of Jupiter.

Mercury is the planet associated with the way we think, communicate and connect with the world around us: Jupiter tends to be associated with growth, opportunity and optimism.  The houses ruled by these planets (Mercury = houses with Gemini or Virgo on the cusp; Jupiter = houses with Sagittarius or Pisces on the cusp).

The trine tends to form a productive link between the people and situations represented by these two planets, for example if you have Gemini Rising then you have Sagittairus on your 7th house cusp - in this example you would be represented by Mercury since it rules your Ascendant, and your partner would be represented by Jupiter since it rules your 7th house.  The trine aspect suggests that you will work together well during the time of this aspect.

If you have personal points and/or planets in Scorpio or Pisces then you may be especially sensitive to this transit.

Sun Conjunct Retrograde Venus...

starts on October 28 (using a 1 degree orb), is exact on October 29 at 12.10pm in Kilmore, leaves on October 30.  Both at 5 degrees and 30 minutes of Scorpio.

The Sun tends to 'illiminate' whatever it touches, and in this case it is highlighting the retrograde Venus.  So, this is likely to be a period of time when the people and situations represented by Venus in our birth charts (as shown by the houses ruled by her - ones with Taurus and Libra on the cusp).  In a generic sense, Venus also represents our values and valuables, relationships and pleasure.

If you have personal planets and/or points in Scorpio, then you are likely to be especially sensitive to this transit.

Mars enters Sagitttarius...

today in Kilmore at 5.48pm.

Mars shifting gears suggests a major change in what areas of our lives will be energised, and where we will be more motivated to act as well.  By looking at which house Mars is travelling through and which one has Sagittarius on the cusp, we can plan for more activity and focus on the people and situations represented by the particular houses involved.

This shift in energy will also have an impact on the the areas of life and relationships represented by the houses that are ruled by Mars - ones which Aries or Scorpio on them.

The movement of Mars from the intensely emotional, and fixed sign of Scorpio in the more flexible and outgoing sign of Sagittarius suggests that you can expect the people and situations represented by the relevant houses are also likely to become more open to change, and also be more expressive and easier to understand (in comparison to when Mars was travelling through Scorpio, anyway!).

If you have personal planets and/or points in Sagittarius, then you can expect a lot more focus and activity than usual on the themes represented by them.

Mercury Conjunct Retrograde Venus...

starts on October 25 (using a 1 degree orb), is exact on October 26 at 12.17am in Kilmore, leaves on October 26.  Both at 7 degrees and 36 minutes of Scorpio.

Smooth talker!  That's the first thing that comes to mind when I think about Mercury and Venus together like this.  Mercury, the planet of communication and connection and also our thinking and attitudes in general connecting with Venus, the planet associated with pleasure, ease and enjoyment bodes well for good news and and positive developments.

The connection through a conjunction suggests something or someone new coming into our lives, depending on which house the conjunction is falling in and which houses are ruled by the two planets involved (Mercury rules Gemini and Virgo, Venus rules Taurus and Libra).

If you have personal planets and/or points in Scorpio, then you are likely to feel this energy more strongly than others.

Mars Trine Retrograde Uranus...

starts on October 23 (using a 1 degree orb), is exact on October 25 in Kilmore at 1.56am, leaves on October 26.  Mars at 27 degrees and 23 minutes of Scorpio, retrograde Uranus at 27 degrees and 23 minutes of Pisces.

After the confusing Mars/Neptune square, the trine between these two planets is likely to give us a sudden burst of clarity and progress that will make up for a bit of the earlier floundering!

As usual, look at where this aspect is falling and which houses are ruled by the planets involved in order to get a feel for where you can expect a positive bolt out of the blue!  Mars rules Aries and Scorpio, Uranus rules Aquarius.

Those of you with personal points and/or planets in Scorpio or Pisces may be especially sensitive to this transit.

Full Moon in Aries... again!

today in Kilmore at 12.37pm.

Wow... this is quite unusual, this is the second Full Moon in a row happening in Aries.  The last one (here) was at 0 degrees, and this one is at 29 degrees.

This double whammy of a Full Moon in Aries gives us a second chance to objectively view our Aries/Libra polarity and issues involved with it.

The last Full Moon was at the unstable zero degree of the fiery Aries, and this time it is also at an unstable degree... 29 degrees.  This may mean that we are still on shaky ground.

Looking at the actual chart for this lunation there is a tricky Mars/Neptune square that suggests a lack of direction or energy that saps us in whatever areas of life that they fall in within our birth charts.  Confusing blocks to our progress or lack of confidence may prove difficult to deal with.  The key to this particular configuration may be with the trine to Jupiter from Mars... so support, guidance and progress as well as protection is likley from this planet and whatever it symbolises in your birth chart.

This lunation also has a trine from the Sun to the Neptune/Chiron conjunction, suggesting a powerful opportunity for emotional healing... obviously the conjunction also sextiles the Moon.

Sun enters Scorpio...

today in Kilmore at 11.35pm.

The moving from the social and outgoing sign of Libra, into the more intense, fixed and emotional sign of Scorpio is likely to be something to be felt by all of us.

If you imagine the sunrise, you can also imagine the light that it brings into our lives... symbolically the same thing happens with the Sun changing signs.  The houses with Scorpio on the cusp or in it are likely to become activated while the Sun travels through them, suggesting that the people and situations represented by them will become more prominent than usual.

The house ruled by the Sun (one with Leo on the cusp) is also likely to have a subtle shift in focus as well... the people and situations represented by this house are likley to move from being 'Libran' towards more 'Scorpio' themes... ie, more intense, fixed, stubborn and emotional.

Thursday, October 21, 2010

Mars Square Retrograde Neptune...

starts on October 21 (using a 1 degree orb), is exact on October 23 at 2.35am in Kilmore, leaves on October 24. Mars at 25 degrees and 58 minutes of Scorpio, retrograde Neptune at 25 degrees and 58 minutes of Aquarius.

Fogs and mists are what I think of when I see this combination... because that is what happens when you mix heat (Mars) with water (Neptune)!

Mars is the planet of action, direction and energy and the connection with Neptune - a bit of a contrast to Mars - represents being lost at sea, cloudiness and being blown around on the currents of life, suggests that the relationships and areas of life being affected by this transit will tend to become confused.

Because the square aspect is so powerful, it tends to exaggerate these qualities... the square also suggests a clash or challenge to the way we usually handle situations... in this case a tricky character may make us feel unsure of what we are doing, or perhaps a general lack of energy or sense of purpose may temporarily plague us?

As usual, look at which houses this transit falls in to get a feel for what or who may pose a confusing challenge, and also which houses are ruled by Mars (ones with Aries or Scorpio on the cusp) and Neptune (one with Pisces on the cusp).

If you have personal planets and/or points in Scorpio or Aquarius you may be especially sensitive to this transit.

Mercury enters Scorpio...

today in Kilmore at 8.19am.

Mercury the messenger moving from the light-hearted and communicative sign of Libra into the intense and emotional sign of Scorpio is a move that is likely to be noticed, since these signs are so different.

This planet also tends to speed up whatever it touches on so the house it is travelling through is likely to become more hectic than usual... for example, if you have Scorpio on the 7th house cusp, it is likely that you will have more involvement than usual with other people and they will be keeping you busy.

The people and situations represented by the houses ruled by Mercury (ones with Gemini or Virgo on them) are also likely to shift gears... from Libran to Scorpion themes.

If you have personal planets and/or points in Scorpio, then you can expect the pace of life to pick up while Mercury travels through this sign.

Mars Trine Retrograde Jupiter...

starts on October 20 (using a 1 degree orb), is exact on October 21 at 12.42pm in Kilmore, leaves on October 22.  Mars at 24 degrees and 51 minutes of Scorpio, retrograde Jupiter at 24 degrees and 51 minutes of Pisces.

Jupiter, the planet associated with opportunities, good fortune and growth has been travelling backwards for some time now and this suggests that we have all had the chance to 'go back' to something or someone for another chance at happiness or success.

Mars is the planet of action and energy and is quite strong in Scorpio - it tends to energise whatever it touches.  In this case it is activating Jupiter... suggesting that we will  have the opportunity to access the lucky and happy energies of this planet.  The trine aspect generally suggests progress and ease of movement.

As usual, look at where this aspect is falling to get a feel for which areas of your life may be energised in a positive way.  Also look at which houses are ruled by Mars (ones with Aries or Scorpio on the cusp), and Jupiter (ones with Sagittarius or Pisces on the cusp).

If you have personal planets and/or points in Scorpio or Pisces you may be especially sensitive to this transit.

Monday, October 18, 2010

Sun Trine Retrograde Neptune...

starts on October 18 (using a 1 degree orb), is exact on October 19 at 11.18pm in Kilmore, leaves on October 20.  Sun at 26 degrees of Libra, retrograde Neptune at 26 degrees of Aquarius.

The connection of the Sun through a lovely trine to the emotional and creative Neptune bodes well for a happy period of time where it comes to the situations and relationships represented by these two planets in your birth chart.  It seems that previous barriers to happiness and progress will ease off, leaving room for enjoyment of the potential offered - particularly of the Neptunian energy!

Neptune moving backwards so suggests that whatever or whoever is regressing and possibly frustrating you, will perhaps begin to make sense, alternatively, you could see the benefit of this process.

As usual, look to see where this aspect is falling in your birth chart and which houses are ruled by the Sun (one with Leo on the cusp) and Neptune (one with Pisces on the cusp) in order to see what or who is likely to be going well for you!

If you have personal planets and/or points in Libra and/or Aquarius then you may feel this energy more strongly than others.

Mercury Trine Retrograde Neptune...

starts on October 18 (using a 1 degree orb), is exact on October 18 in Kilmore at 11.03pm, leaves on October 19.  Mercury at 26 degrees and 1 minute of Libra, retrograde Neptune at 26 degrees and 1 minute of Aquarius.

Mercury represents communication and change, and Neptune represents beauty, escapism and fantasy (amongst other things!).  The combination of these two energies by the easygoing and flowing trine suggests that through using your imagination and a bit of creativity you are likley to achieve a lot.

By looking at what and who are represented by Mercury and Neptune (look to see where these planets are in terms of house position), and also by looking at which houses are ruled by Mercury (ones with Gemini and/or Virgo on the cusp) and Neptune (house cusp with Pisces on it), you can get an idea of where help is available!

If you have personal planets and/or points in Libra and/or Aquarius then you are likely to feel this energy more than others.

Sun Conjunct Mercury...

starts on October 16 (using a 1 degree orb), is exact on October 17 at 12.05pm in Kilmore, leaves on October 18.  Both at 23 degrees and 33 minutes of Libra.

Also look at the house that the conjunction is falling in, and the one with Libra on the cusp in order to get a feel for where a new start is needed.

Venus goes Retrograde...

today in Kilmore at 6.05pm at 13 degrees and 13 minutes of Scorpio.

Venus in a generic sense represents our ability to relate to others, our values and valuables and is also a feminine energy.  She also represents enjoyment and pleasure and is considered a lucky planet (if not taken too far!).

When looking at what she represents personally for you, look at which houses are ruled by Venus... e.g., ones with Taurus and Libra on the cusps.  For example I have Libra on my 6th house representing illness, so Venus represents the type of illness I may get or be prone to, or already have.

The period when Venus is retrograde represents a period of reassessment and realignment with what is truly important to us.  Since Venus is not particularly happy in Scorpio, it may mean that whatever or whoever is represented by her is not as strong or powerful as they usually are... or possibly behaving badly!

Once she reenters Libra, then an improvement will be likely - especially once she turns direct there!  More on that at a later post.

Mercury Conjunct Saturn...

starts on October 8 (using a 1 degree orb), is exact on October 8 at 10.35pm in Kilmore, leaves on October 9.  Both at 8 degrees and 39 minutes of Libra.

Serious decisions, and heavy thinking are what come to mind when I see this combination... and these are likely to be involved with something or someone that will be around for a long time.  A new start is also possible since this is a conjunction: before this can happen though we all may need to let go of old ways of thinking and attitudes!

As usual look at where this conjunction falls in order to get a feel for what or who may be involved, and also look at which houses are ruled by Mercury (ones with Gemini or Virgo on the cusp) and Saturn (ones with Capricorn or Aquarius on the cusp).

If you have personal planets and/or points in Libra you may be especially sensitive to this transit.

New Moon in Libra...

today in Kilmore at 5.44am.

A New Moon is always an opportunity for a new start... this one being in Libra suggests that balance, diplomacy and our ability to relate successfully to others is likely to be part of this new start.

The involving of Mercury and Saturn in this New Moon is important as it suggests the need for some serious thinking or that the decisions you are making now will have an impact in your life for a long time.

Pluto is squaring the Mercury/Saturn conjunction, adding a deeply emotional challenge to the whole situation, but also the opportunity to make major changes for the better.

As usual, look at which house this lunation is falling in and which house has Libra on the cusp, since the effects of the Libran New Moon may flow into that house as well, if it is different to where the actual lunation degree.

Mercury Square Pluto...

starts on October 5 (using a 1 degree orb), is exact on October 5 in Kilmore at 5.08pm, leaves on October 6.  Mercury at 2 degrees and 54 minutes of Libra, Pluto at 2 degrees and 54 minutes of Capricorn.

What an intense combination... it seems that it is time to really question at a deep level our approach or thinking in regards to an intensely emotional person or situation in our lives.

Mercury represents the way we connect and communicate with those around us, and also our attitude in general.  Pluto represents quite a deep and complex energy and is sometimes experienced as fear because of this.  The connection of these two energies through the powerful square suggests a challenge and stress... but also a turning point.

Look at where this aspect is falling in order to get a feel for what or who may need a change in attitude.  Also look at which houses are ruled by Mercury (ones with Gemini or Virgo on the cusp) and Pluto (one with Scorpio on the cusp).

If you have personal points and/or planets in Libra or Capricorn then you may be especially sensitive to this transit.

Monday, October 4, 2010

Mercury enters Libra...

today in Kilmore at 2.04am.

Mercury the messenger changing signs from the practical and earthy Virgo, into the airy and communicative sign of Libra suggests a change in the way we connect with the world around us.  This shift in signs also suggests a shift in attitude for the people and situations represented by Mercury in our birth charts.

This planet usually creates a busier time for whatever it touches on, so look at which house Mercury is travelling through and which house has Libra on the cusp... the areas of life represented by them are likely to become busier while Mercury travels through Libra.  News, changes and generally a lot of running around are to be expected.

The houses ruled by Mercury (those with Gemini or Virgo on the cusp) and the people/situations represented by them are likely to experience a shift in the way they are experienced.  That is, they are likely to move from a 'Virgo' way of being experience, more towards a 'Libran' way... being more balanced and diplomatic.

Sunday, October 3, 2010

Venus Conjunct Mars...

starts on October 2 (using a 1 degree orb), is exact on October 4 at 8.58am in Kilmore, leaves on October 6.  Both at 12 degrees and 52 minutes of Scorpio.

This aspect happened on August 21, and a description of what to expect can be found here.  Back then it fell at 13 degrees of Libra, so it seems that we have a chance to double-dip in making a fresh start!  This time in another area of our lives.

Where the last conjunction was especially important if you have personal points or planets in Libra, this time it is particularly important for those of you with them in Scorpio.

Saturday, October 2, 2010

Mercury Opposing Retrograde Uranus...

starts on October 2 (using a 1 degree orb), is exact on October 3 at 12.23am in Kilmore, leaves on October 3.  Mercury at 28 degrees and 10 minutes of Virgo, retrograde Uranus at 28 degrees and 10 minutes of Pisces.

A roller-coast ride is what I think of when I see this combination!  A lightning bolt too.... :).

It is important to keep a very open mind during this time because the information (Mercury) that comes our way is likely to be unexpected or be unusual (Uranus)... because of the involvement through the opposition aspect it is likely happen in a bit of a jarring way.  However, it is likely to help let go of outworn ways of thinking and to open up exciting new possibilities!

Mercury also represents our mind, so it may simply be that we come to a sudden realisation about a certain person or situation in our lives as represented by our birth chart.

As usual look at where this aspect is falling in your birth chart to get a feel for what or who may be involved.  Look at which houses are ruled by Mercury (ones with Gemini or Virgo on the cusp) and Uranus (one with Aquarius on the cusp).

If you have personal planets and/or points in Virgo or Pisces then you may be especially sensitive to this transit.

Friday, October 1, 2010

Mercury Opposing Retrograde Jupiter...

starts on October 1 (using a 1 degree orb), is exact on October 2 in Kilmore at 8.36am, leaves on October 2.  Mercury at 27 degrees of Virgo, retrograde Jupiter at 27 degrees of Pisces.

Yippee... Mercury and Jupiter connecting is generally a good reason to be feeling optimistic and at least a little bit happier about life and the people in it.

Mercury represents the way we connect with others and our general thinking/attitude (as well as young people), while Jupiter represents where our luck is found and opportunity - as well as where our boundaries may be lacking!

The opposition brings a new level of awareness and possibly a turning point in the people and situations represented by these planets.

As usual, look at where this aspect is falling and which houses are ruled by Mercury (ones with Gemini or Virgo on the cusp), and Jupiter (ones with Sagittarius or Pisces on the cusp) in order to get a feel for what or who may be prominent right now.

If you have personal planets and/or points in Virgo or Pisces then you may be more sensitive than others to this transit.

Thursday, September 30, 2010

Sun Conjunct Saturn...

starts on September 30 (using a 1 degree orb), is exact on October 1 at 10.42am in Kilmore, leaves on October 2. Both at 7 degrees and 44 minutes of Libra.

Mmmm... personally, I really don't have the energy to deal with Saturn being further accented!  However, the Sun forming a conjunction and accenting Saturn offers an opportunity to end something, and start something new and constructive.  Although possibly annoying (a bit like a parent nagging you to do something you would rather not!), the things we do now are likely to be ultimately rewarding and good for us (as long as we do it properly).

It is important to keep in mind the overall message that Saturn in Libra has brought to you over the past year or so, because the Sun connecting with it in such a powerful way is likely to bring them to a head.

As usual, look at where this conjunction is happening in order to get a feel for what or who may be involved.  Also look to which house are ruled by the Sun (one with Leo on the cusp) and Saturn (ones with Capricorn or Aquarius on the cusp).

If you have personal planets and/or points in Libra then you may be more sensitive than others to this transit.

Saturday, September 25, 2010

Sun Square Pluto...

starts on September 25 (using a 1 degree orb), is exact on September 26 at 10.26am in Kilmore, leaves on September 27.  Sun at 2 degrees and 49 minutes of Libra, Pluto at 2 degrees and 49 minutes of Capricorn.

This aspect intensifies the energies that were around a few days ago at the Full Moon, because they were within range to form an aspect back then.

A square aspect usually produces tension and sometimes conflict between the people and/or situations represented by the two planets involved... in this case the Sun and Pluto.  However, this tension can be positive in that helps us identify the root cause of a problem, meaning we can do something about it and reach a turning point in whatever is going on.

Being in cardinal signs, this suggests that there will be physical action taken... although this would depend also on which houses this aspect falls in within your own birth chart.

As usual, look at which houses are ruled by the Sun (one with Leo on the cusp) and Pluto (one with Scorpio on the cusp) to get a feel for what or who may be involved: as well as which houses these planets fall in.

If you have personal planets and/or points in Libra and/or Capricorn then you may be more sensitive than others to this transit.

Full Moon in Aries...

today in Kilmore at 7.17pm.

Yippeeeee, I've finally got Blogger to work!  Sorry for the late posting.

The Full Moon is usually a time of heightened emotions and turning points, usually because of a better objective awareness of the situations and people represented in our birth charts by this lunation.  Being in the unstable zero degree of the fiery Aries may mean that we are still on shaky ground though, particularly since Pluto squares both the Sun and Moon and forms a stressful T-Square configuration!

I think the focus for us all with this lunation is learning to balance whatever, or whoever is represented by Pluto in our birth chart - this is likely to involve a deeply emotional fear, that is also likely to be irrational.

Sun enters Libra...

today in Kilmore at 1.09pm.

The Sun changing signs is something to take notice of, since it suggests a major change in focus of where the Sun is symbolically throwing its rays (imagine a beam of light changing directions in the dark).

To get an idea of where this beam of light will be moving to, have a look at where the Sun is travelling in your chart and which house has Libra on it.

The house that has Leo on the cusp may also experience a shift in gears... the people and situations represented by this house may move from being intensely emotional and possibly stubborn (Sun in Scorpio), into being more sociable and motivated (Sun in Libra).

Sun Opposing Retrograde Uranus...

starts on September 21 (using a 1 degree orb), is exact on September 22 at 2.58am in Kilmore, leaves on September 23.

As mentioned in my previous post, the Sun accents and lights up whatever it touches, and in this case it is the erratic, exciting and unpredictable Uranus making this a period of time where you can 'expect the unexpected'!

As usual, look at where this aspect is falling in order to get a feel for what or who may be involved, and remember that oppositions usually involve at least one other person.

Also look at which houses are ruled by the Sun (one with Leo on the cusp), and Uranus (one with Aquarius on the cusp) to get a feel for what or who may be involved.

If you have personal planets and/or points in Virgo and/or Pisces then you may be more sensitive than others to this transit.

Monday, September 20, 2010

Sun Opposing Retrograde Jupiter...

starts on September 20 (using a 1 degree orb), is exact on September 21 at 9.36pm in Kilmore, leaves on September 22.  Sun at 28 degrees and 23 minutes of Virgo, retrograde Jupiter at 28 degrees and 23 minutes of Pisces.

The Sun acts like a trigger in the skies.... or a bit like a magnifying glass: whatever it touches tends to be activated or gains prominence!

Jupiter recently went back into Pisces, suggesting that we all have a second chance at the opportunities that this planet in this sign brings us, depending on our own personal birth charts.

The opposition is an aspect that associated with awareness... particularly in relation to something or someone that came into our lives when the two planets were last conjunct.  In this case, the Sun and Jupiter were last conjunct early in March 2010 at about 9 degrees of Pisces.

So, by looking at where these aspects fall we can get a better idea of what or who will reach a turning point through awareness, and will most likely involve at least one other person since the opposition is also an aspect of 'relationship'.

Also look at which houses are ruled by the Sun (house with Leo on the cusp), and Jupiter (ones with Sagittarius or Pisces on the cusp) in order to get a feel for what or who may be involved.

If you have personal planets and/or points in Virgo and/or Pisces then you may be more sensitive than others to this transit.

Mars enters Scorpio...

today in Kilmore at 8.38am.

Mars moving from the peace-keeping sign of Libra into the sign where it is stronger - Scorpio - and one known for being fixed and emotional, and sometimes vindictive and destructive, but also transformative and helpful, suggests a change in pace for the people and situations represented by this planet.

With Venus travelling in the same sign for quite some time, it seems that Mars will have the support of this planet to help soften some of the harsher ways in which Mars in Scorpio can sometimes be experienced... meaning that a person or situation represented by her in your birth chart is likely to help with the situation involving Mars.

Mars energises and activates whatever it touches, so you can expect situations and people represented by the house that Mars is travelling through and the one with Scorpio on the cusp to gain more prominence while Mars travels through Scorpio.

The change in signs suggests that the people and situations represented by the houses ruled by Mars (cusps with Aries or Scorpio on them), will become stronger, more emotional and perhaps more stable/fixed/stubborn!

If you have personal planets and/or points in Scorpio then you can expect this to be a more energetic time than usual where you may need to learn the difference between being assertive and being aggressive.

Pluto goes Direct...

today in Kilmore at 2.36pm at 2 degrees and 47 minutes of Capricorn.

Pluto went retrograde back in April earlier this year... read about this here.  Back then, there was the involvement of Saturn in Libra squaring Pluto... the good news is that this energy exchange is now over.

It suggests that now that Pluto is moving forwards, we can leave behind some of the situations represented by Saturn/Pluto being at loggerheads with each other, and start the process of rebuilding the areas of life, and relationships represented by Pluto in our lives.

It will take a while before Pluto gets back to where it went retrograde last time at 5 degrees and 25 minutes of Capricorn (early January 2011!), so it may be a while before we get back to where we started, symbolically speaking.

As usual, look at which house Pluto is travelling through in order to get a feel for what or who may be involved, and also which one is ruled by it (one with Scorpio on the cusp).  If you are a December born Capricorn you are likely to be especially sensitive to this transit.

Mercury goes Direct...

today in Kilmore at 9.09am at 5 degrees and 21 minutes of Virgo.

At long last!  Mercury is going direct (obviously I'm not a fan of it being retrograde).

If you have personal planets and/or points in Virgo, then you may be especially sensitive to this energy.  Gemini people may also feel this way.-

Retrograde Jupiter re-enters Pisces...

today in Kilmore at 2.49pm.

After a very brief visit to Pisces earlier this year, Jupiter is now coming back for another one.  This return visit suggests that we all will be given a second chance with the people and situations represented by Jupiter travelling through Pisces.  My first post about the visit of Jupiter through Pisces is here.

Jupiter will stay in Pisces until January 23, 2011.

Venus enters Scorpio...

today at 1.45am.

Venus moving from Libra (from a sign she loves), into Scorpio, a sign that doesn't hold much interest for her and where she isn't very comfortable suggests that the people and situations represented by her in our birth charts may not do as well as they have over the last few weeks since she entered Libra.

Since Scorpio is a fixed sign it seems that we can look forward to stability and a more solid state of affairs, or for people represented by this planet to be on more of an even ground... it is also an emotional sign, so they are likely to be more emotional in comparison to when Venus was in Libra.

If you have personal planets and/or points in Scorpio, then Venus usually brings some ease, respite, fun and/or need for pleasure in your life.  Enjoy!

Mars Trine Retrograde Neptune...

starts on September 9 (using a 1 degree orb), is exact on September 10 at 11.16am in Kilmore, leaves on September 11.  Mars at 26 degrees and 44 minutes of Libra, retrograde Neptune at 26 degrees and 44 minutes of Aquarius.

Mars and Neptune don't usually work very well together since Mars is usually association with a 'he-man' action figure type of energy, and Neptune is the nebulous and foggy energy that is difficult to pin down.  However, the trine aspect between suggests that they can both work well together while connecting in this way.

It suggests that we all have the opportunity to achieve (Mars) or at least get closer to a special dream, creative pursuit or person (Neptune) as represented by these energies in our own birth charts.  Connecting with others may be the key since these planets are in air signs.

As usual, look at where this aspect falls in your birth chart and which houses are ruled by Mars (ones with Aries and Scorpio on the cusp) and Neptune (one with Pisces on the cusp) in order to get a feel for what or who may be involved.

If you have personal planets and/or points in Libra and/or Aquarius, then you may be especially sensitive to this transit.

Retrograde Jupiter Conjunct Retrograde Uranus...

starts on September 8 (using a 1 degree orb), is exact on September 19 at 11.03am in Kilmore, leaves on September 30.  Both retrograde at 28 degrees and 42 minutes of Pisces.

Jupiter and Uranus were conjunct earlier this year in June, but in Aries.  Here is the link to my previous post.

As I mentioned in my previous post, Jupiter tends to magnify whatever it touches.  Unlike the previous conjunction that happened in the fiery Aries, this one is in the softer sign of Pisces which will help to dampen down any tendency for explosiveness!

As usual you can look to see where this conjunction  falls in your birth chart (and which houses are ruled by Jupiter - ones with Sagittairus or Pisces on the cusp; and Uranus - one with Aquarius on the cusp, to get a feel for what or who may be putting your life into warp speed!

If you have personal planets or points in Pisces (especially the very late degrees) then you are likely to be especially sensitive to this energy.

New Moon in Virgo...

today at 8.30pm at 15 degrees and 40 minutes of Virgo.

The time around a New Moon is generally one of making a fresh start, particularly in relation to the sign that it falls in... in this case Virgo.  The search for purity, perfection and/or a practical way of working with things are all themes linked with this sign.

Also, look at where this lunation is falling in your birth chart to get a feel for where you can make a personal fresh start.  For example, I have it falling in my 4th House, so I can think about how or what I would like to change about myself at a deep level and/or how a fresh start with family members could be approached.  Of course there are many ways in which this could be experience, these are just examples.

Looking at the aspects coming along with this New Moon you will see that the retrograde Mercury is part of the lunation... suggesting that you can expect to change something about a new project that comes into your life now at some stage later on down the track.  You may change your mind, or someone else could, about the situation.  The trine from the Nodes and Pluto bode well for support and progress with our endeavours.

If you have personal planets and/or points in Virgo, this New Moon is likely to be especially significant for you.

Venus Trine Retrograde Neptune...

starts on September 3 (using 1 degree orb), is exact on September 5 at 3.11am in Kilmore, leaves on September 6.  Venus at 26 degrees and 53 minutes of Libra, retrograde Neptune at 26 degrees and 53 minutes of Aquarius.

This is a lovely, gentle energy to have happening and suggests that we will have the opportunity to successfully connect with the beautiful Neptunian themes in our lives!

Venus tends to be a easy-going energy and is quite happy in Libra, so suggests something or someone that brings comfort or pleasure into our lives... the connection to Neptune, an emotional and artistic energy through the flowing trine suggests that there will be a positive connection between the two people or themes represented by these planets in your birth chart.

As usual look at where this aspect is falling in your birth chart to get a feel for what or who will bring a bit of fun and enjoyment into your life.  Also look at which houses are ruled by Venus (ones with Taurus or Libra on the cusp) and Neptune (one with Pisces on the cusp).

If you have personal planets and/or points in Libra and/or Aquarius then you may be especially sensitive to this transit.

Sun Conjunct Retrograde Mercury...

starts on September 3 (using a 1 degree orb), is exact on the same day at 10.35pm in Kilmore, leaves on September 4.  Both at 10 degrees and 54 minutes of Virgo.

The conjunction of the Sun and Mercury is part of the retrograde cycle of Mercury, and highlights the Mercury themes and people in our lives.  It is important during this time to NOT jump to conclusions and have patience because the information we are getting may be incorrect or misinterpreted, or the person involved simply confused or uncertain.

As usual, look at where this conjunction is happening to get a feel for what or who may be involved, and also which houses are ruled by the Sun (one with Leo on it) and Mercury (ones with Gemini or Virgo on the cusp).  If you have personal planets and/or points in Virgo then you may feel this conjunction more than others.

Full Moon in Pisces...

today in Kilmore at 3.05am.

The Full Moon period is traditionally one where emotions are heightened, and this one being in the watery sign of Pisces intensifies this tendency!  Combined with the retrograde Mercury in the opposite sign of Virgo also adds to logic being a bit useless at this time!

This lunation type is also associated with 'illumination'... as in you can imagine a Full Moon lighting up the night sky... however, again, we may THINK we understanding a situation now, but because Mercury is retrograde there is likely to be more to it than we are aware.

The powerful trine from Pluto to the Sun (that also sextiles the Moon) suggests help and progress through the people and situations represented by Pluto in your birth chart.  This could be someone or something that is quite powerful (or at least is felt to have this quality by you!), and/or intensely emotional.

As usual, look at the houses involved to get a feel for where this lunation may be felt by you!

Sun Trine Retrograde Pluto...

starts on August 25 (using a 1 degree orb), is exact on August 26 in Kilmore at 3.12pm, leaves on August 27.  Sun at 2 degrees and 52 minutes of Virgo, retrograde Pluto at 2 degrees and 52 minutes of Capricorn.

This is a nice energy to have, as it suggests that we will be able to access the power, strength and support that is around us, as represented by Pluto in our birth charts.  The Sun accents and highlights whatever it touches in the birth chart, and the trine is a flowing energy that suggests easier access than usual to whatever is involved and represented by the planets that form this aspect.

As usual look at where this aspect falls in your birth chart to get a feel for what or who may flow more smoothly than usual and in what areas you can expect a deeper understanding... also look at which houses are ruled by the Sun (one with Leo on the cusp) and Pluto (one with Scorpio on the cusp).

If you have personal planets and/or points in Virgo or Capricorn you may be especially sensitive to this transit.

Sun enters Virgo...

today in Kilmore at 3.27pm.

The Sun changing signs is usually felt because it means a change in what is being 'lit up' in our birth charts!  The move from Leo into Virgo is quite dramatic because Leo is so different from Virgo.  Look to see which house cusp has Virgo on it to get a feel for what and/or who is likely to more prominent than usual over the next few weeks while the Sun travels through this sign.

If you have personal planets and/or points in Virgo, you can expect the themes represented by them to also be highlighted.

Mercury goes Retrograde...

today in Kilmore at 5.59am at 19 degrees and 3 minutes of Virgo.

Timing is everything... i.e. I wonder who chose election day here in Australia!

Anyway, Mercury, the planet associated with communication, data, connecting with others and information in general turns around and appears to go backwards this morning.  Symbolically, this can mean that all of these matters will 'regress' or become more difficult than usual to deal with.  Traditionally this is not the best time to sign anything or to make a final decision; however, it is excellent for researching your options!

So, from now until Mercury goes direct on September 12, it may be best to avoid making a final commitment.  If you desperately have important paperwork to sign, etc, just be prepared for the whole process to be drawn out, or for the situation to change... or for someone to change their mind.

To get an idea for what or who may be involved look to see which houses are ruled by Mercury in your birth chart... ie, houses with Gemini or Virgo on the cusps.  Also see which house this planet is travelling through.

If you have personal planets and/or points in Virgo, you may be especially sensitive to this retrograde period.

Sun Opposing Retrograde Neptune...

starts on August 19 using a 1 degree orb, is exact on August 20 in Kilmore at 8.07pm, leaves on August 21.  Sun at 27 degrees and 17 minutes of Leo, retrograde Neptune at 27 degrees and 17 minutes of Aquarius.

The Sun tends to illuminate whatever it touches, however, in this case it's a bit like shining a torch into fog... it seems to create more difficulty in seeing clearly!  The confusion and/or lack of clarity represented by this opposition is likely to involve at least one other person (since it is an opposition!), and may relate to something or someone that came into our lives when the Sun and Neptune were last conjunct around February 13, 2010 at about 24 degrees of Aquarius.

On a brighter note, this is a very creative, spiritual and/or artistic energy that supports daydreaming, imagination and escaping reality in general... great for a few drinks or for getting out your paints if you are so inclined!  Not the best for making a clear-minded decision though.

Look to see where this opposition is falling and which houses are ruled by the Sun (one with Leo on the cusp) and Neptune (one with Pisces on the cusp) in order to get a feel for what or who may be involved.

If you have personal planets and/or points in Leo or Aquarius you may be more sensitive than others to this energy.

Venus Conjunct Mars...

starts on August 18 (using a 1 degree orb), is exact on August 21 at 4.49am, leaves on August 24.  Both at 13 degrees and 35 minutes of Libra.

Even though Venus and Mars are technically only conjunct for a few days, they are travelling through the same sign until the end of October... making this an important time for our desires and wants to be united.

Mars is an assertive energy that is quite is related to our ego, while Venus is a passive energy related to our desires... a conjunction represents the end of an old way of doing things and the beginning of a new way, a new project, idea, etc.  Every couple of years we get this conjunction of the two planets that represents the masculine (Mars) and feminine (Venus) which gives us all a chance for a fresh start: in this case Venus is in a better position because it likes being in Libra, while Mars isn't so happy about the situation!

Symbolically this can mean that the people and situations represented by Venus in your birth chart will be in a stronger position than the Mars ones that are ending/starting around this time in your life.  For example, I have Taurus Rising so I am likely to be in a better position than a competitor (Mars rules by Scorpio 7th house cusp) in a sporting event (the conjunction happens in my 5th house).

If you have personal planets and/or points in Libra then you may feel this opportunity for a fresh start more strongly than others.

Retrograde Uranus re-enters Pisces...

today in Kilmore at 1.36pm.

Uranus made a very short visit to Aries and has been in this sign since May 28, 2010... and is now returning to Pisces and will stay in this sign until mid March 2011.

The short visit of this planet into Aries has given us all a taste of what to expect when it returns again early in 2011 to stay for about 7 years.  Uranus usually brings reform, total change, a hectic pace and unusual and/or unexpected people and situations into our lives... and also the themes of freedom becoming more prominent!

Before this happens though, the return of Uranus into Pisces suggests that over the next few months that we will all have to tie up loose ends and make those other little adjustments to the areas of our lives that have been affected by the visit of this planet through Pisces.  You will have to look at which houses are involved to get a feel for what and where this may happen, and also look back to developments over the past 7 years or so to get an understanding of where we became too rigid and needed to change, or perhaps needed to be awakened.  I liken Uranus to 'The Tower' card in the tarot.

Saturn Square Retrograde Pluto...

starts on August 13 (using a 1 degree orb), is exact on August 21 at 8.16pm in Kilmore, leaves on August 30.  Saturn at 2 degrees and 55 minutes of Libra, retrograde Pluto at 2 degrees and 55 minutes of Capricorn.

This aspect was around during November and December last year, as well as during January and February 2010.

You can read all about it here!

Retrograde Jupiter Opposing Saturn...

starts on August 11 (using a 1 degree orb), is exact on August 17 at 6.45am in Kilmore, leaves on August 22.  Retrograde Jupiter at 2 degrees and 26 minutes of Aries, Saturn at 2 degrees and 26 minutes of Libra.

Woo hoo... another Jupiter/Saturn opposition... here is the link to entry I did for the last one.  The difference between the last one and this one, is that this time the opposition is happening in cardinal signs, making it more dynamic and perhaps more visible in our lives.

I won't repeat everything I wrote in my first entry on this opposition... just have a look at it again.

Jupiter Square Retrograde Pluto...

starts on July 5 (using a 1 degree orb), is exact on July 25 at 2.20pm in Kilmore (Jupiter will then be retrograde at 3 degrees and 23 minutes of Aries, and retrograde Pluto at 3 degrees and 23 minutes of Capricorn); this aspect will again be exact on August 3 at 3.32pm in Kilmore - retrograde Jupiter at 3 degrees and 12 minutes of Aries, retrograde Pluto at 3 degrees and 12 minutes of Capricorn.  This aspect will finish up on August 23.

This square will be around for some time, and unusually, both of the times it is exact will be when BOTH planets are retrograde!  I'm not sure exactly what this means, however, the retrograde motion of both planets suggests the need to go back over past issues in order to reach a series of turning points (square aspect).

Jupiter tends to energise and increase whatever it touches, and in a lot of cases has a lucky feel to it.  Pluto is an intensely emotional energy associated with power and control.  The square aspect is generally stressful and energetic, but often leads to a breakthrough or turning point because the stress associated with it pushes us to do something about what is causing us stress.

So, if we look to our own charts we can get a feel for where we may be at a stressful, but productive cross-road.  The houses that involve Jupiter may be the ones where we want to be 'bigger than Ben Hur', the ones that involve Pluto may be where irrational feelings are perhaps working against this need to grow, or maybe we have control issues or someone represented by these houses is on a power trip?  Regardless of exactly how these energies are experienced, it seems that we will need to reconcile these two energies in a way that allows growth, but also control.

Look to see which houses the planets fall in, and also which are ruled by them (Jupiter = Sagittarius and Pisces, Pluto = Scorpio) in order to get a feel for what or who may be involved.

If you have personal planets or points in Aries or Capricorn, then you may be especially sensitive to this energy.

New Moon in Leo...

today in Kilmore at 1.08pm.

The New Moon period is usually a time to start anew: a new attitude, new relationship, new job, new awareness... etc.  Where this new start is depends on where the New Moon falls in your birth chart.

Being in Leo, it seems that we all need to focus on finding a new way to 'shine' and to discover and develop what makes us feel special, brings warmth into our lives and also to bring the child within us out to play a bit!

Looking at the aspects it seems that this lunation is a bit isolated, apart from a trine by sign to the Jupiter/Uranus conjunction, and opposition by sign to the Neptune/Chiron conjunction.  I feel that this simply means that the power of this New Moon is condensed and will need extra awareness to get things happening.

As usual, look to which house this lunation is falling in to get an idea of which areas of life and/or relationships have a chance for a fresh start around this time.

Venus Square Retrograde Pluto...

starts on August 9 (using a 1 degree orb), is exact on August 10 at 2.05pm in Kilmore, leaves on August 11.  Venus at 3 degrees and 5 minutes of Libra, retrograde Pluto at 3 degrees and 5 minutes of Capricorn.

While we have the Venus/Jupiter opposition, we also have this intense combination of Venus and Pluto... through the energetic and sometimes difficult square.

Venus represents what we value, as well as our relating skills: Pluto represents depth, change and intense emotions: the square represents a challenge, stress, and also a turning point.

By looking at which houses the planets are in you can get a feel for where their energies will be felt: you can also look to see which houses are ruled by them (Venus = Taurus and Libra, Pluto = Scorpio) to get a feel for what or who will be involved.

If you have personal planets and/or points in Libra and/or Capricorn you may feel this more than others.

Venus Opposing Jupiter...

enters on August 9 (using a 1 degree orb), is exact on August 10 at 9.40am in Kilmore, leaves on August 11.  Venus at 2 degrees and 54 minutes of Libra, retrograde Jupiter at 2 degrees and 54 minutes of Aries.

Both Venus and Jupiter are associated with 'luck'... however, too much of a good thing sometimes isn't so good!  The connection of these two through the energetic opposition sometimes means that we overdo things a little.

As long as we all keep our expectations realistic and don't go overboard this opposition can present an opportunity in the relationships and/or areas of life touched on by them.  A turning point in regards to a person or situation that came into our lives when these two planets were last conjunct is likely also, since the opposition represents the most objective part of a cycle in terms of aspects.  Venus and Jupiter were last conjunct in the middle of February at about 6 degrees of Pisces.

By looking at where these planets are we can get a feel for where discretion and a realistic outlook are likely to bring us happiness and some type of benefit.  Also look to see which houses are ruled by them (Venus = Taurus or Libra on the cusp; Jupiter = Sagittarius or Pisces on the cusp) to get a feel for what or who will be reaching a turning point.

If you have personal planets and/or points in Aries or Libra, then you may be especially sensitive to this transit.

Sunday, August 8, 2010

Venus Conjunct Saturn...

enters on August 8 (using a 1 degree orb), is exact on August 9 at 3.24am in Kilmore, leaves on August 10.  Venus and Saturn both at 1 degree and 36 minutes of Libra.

This is the first aspect that Venus makes once it enters Libra, so sets a bit of a serious and understated tone to the potential of it.  A conjunction usually indicates the end of something, and the beginning of something else... as represented by the placement of the conjunction and the houses ruled by the planets involved.  In this case look to see which houses are ruled by Venus (ones with Taurus or Libra on the cusp) and Saturn (ones with Capricorn or Aquarius on the cusp).

Venus represents many things but the core meaning of this planet is how we relate, and what we value... Saturn can bring these themes to prominence through making us more aware of these issues in our lives: the conjunction gives us the chance to start a new way of approaching these matters that can help to manifest them - especially since this conjunction happens in the cardinal sign of Libra.

If you have personal planets and/or points in Libra, then this energy is likely to be especially prominent for you.

Saturday, August 7, 2010

Venus enters Libra...

today in Kilmore at 1.47pm.

Venus likes being in Libra, so this bodes well for the people and situations in your life represented by her in your birth chart.  For example, I have Taurus Rising, so my health and general attitude to life should receive a bit of boost while she travels through this sign.  Balance and diplomacy are also likely to be important to the relationships and situations represented by Venus now.

The house that Venus is travelling through, and the one with Libra on the cusp is likely to benefit through the energy of Venus... especially considering that Saturn and Mars are also in this sign right now.

If you have personal points and/planets in Libra, then the period over the next month or so while Venus travels through this sign should be a relative period of ease where help may come through a person represented by Libra.

Friday, August 6, 2010

Venus Opposing Retrograde Uranus...

starts on August 6 (using a 1 degree orb), is exact on August 7 at 5.59pm in Kilmore, leaves on August 8.  Venus at 0 degrees and 10 minutes of Libra, retrograde Uranus at 0 degrees and 10 minutes of Aries.

Get ready for a surprise or two, probably involving a relationship or financial matter!  Venus represents these matters as well as your values.  Uranus represents the unexpected and unusual in our lives, whilst the opposition represents a turning point in something or with someone that began or came into our lives when Venus and Uranus were last conjunct.  This  happened last time in early in March 2010 at 25 degrees of Pisces.

By looking at where this opposition is landing in our birth charts we can get a feel for what or who may be reaching a new point of awareness, even if this does come in a way that we don't expect!  This period of time represents a new sense of freedom and a turning point being reached with these matters.  Also look to see which houses are ruled by Venus (ones with Taurus or Libra on the cusp), and Uranus (one with Aquarius on the cusp) to get a feel for what or who may be involved.

If you have personal planets and/or points in Aries or Libra - especially the first couple of degrees - then you may be especially sensitive to this energy.
