Final posting for now....

I have not been able to post for some time now due to a chronic health issue, and now for a good reason as well... I am pregnant!

There are a lot of medical appointments that I need to attend so something has to go in terms of my workload, so it seems that it is time to say goodbye to this blog, for now anyway, once things settle down I may be able to take it up again.

Venus enters Cancer...

on July 4 at 2.17pm in Kilmore.

Venus moving from the changeable and talkative Gemini, into the emotional and motivated sign of Cancer suggests that the people and situations represented by this planet will also become more emotionally drive and motivated to change.

For example, if you have Taurus or Libra on your second house cusp, then you will probably be more motivated than usual to earn money, possibly in order to spoil your family!

If you have personal planets and/or points in Cancer then this is likely to be a lovely time for you... apart from a few minor hiccups when Venus connects with the outer planets through hard aspects.

Venus Trine Retrograde Neptune...

starts on July 4 (using a 1 degree orb), is exact on July 5 at 3.26am in Kilmore, leaves on July 5.  Venus at 00 degrees and 40 minutes of Cancer, retrograde Neptune at 00 degrees and 40 minutes of Pisces.

This is a lovely, gentle energy to have happening and suggests that we will have the opportunity to successfully connect with the beautiful Neptunian themes in our lives!

Venus tends to be a easy-going energy and is especially sensitive in the emotional sign of Cancer: the connection to Neptune, an emotional and artistic energy through the flowing trine suggests that there will be a positive connection between the two people or themes represented by these planets in your birth chart.

As usual look at where this aspect is falling in your birth chart to get a feel for what or who will bring a bit of fun and enjoyment into your life.  Also look at which houses are ruled by Venus (ones with Taurus or Libra on the cusp) and Neptune (one with Pisces on the cusp).

If you have personal planets and/or points in Cancer and/or Pisces then you may be especially sensitive to this transit.

Mercury enters Leo...

on July 2 at 3.38pm in Kilmore.

The move of Mercury from the emotional and family oriented sign of Cancer into the more fiery and stubborn sign of Leo suggests a change in the way we are thinking and perhaps dealing with the areas of life and people represented by this planet in our birth chart.

Mercury represents change, but also the way we connect and communicate with the world, and people around us.  Being in a fire sign now and for the next few weeks, Mercury suggests that we are more likely than usual to speak up and need to express ourselves... being in a fixed sign, it seems that we are more likely to stick to our guns, but also be more stubborn and less likely to compromise.  This can be a good thing, but also create difficulties if we take it too far!

By looking at where Mercury is in your birth chart, and which houses are ruled by it (ones with Gemini or Virgo on the cusp), you can get a feel for where you or someone else, may need to speak up; and also where being determined or even stubborn may be a theme.

If you have personal points or planets in Leo then you can expect the next few weeks to be busier than usual, since Mercury tends to speed things up.

Sun Square Saturn...

enters on July 2 (using a 1 degree orb), is exact on July 3 at 10.17am in Kilmore, leaves on July 4.  Sun at 10 degrees and 46 minutes of Cancer, Saturn at 10 degrees and 46 minutes of Libra.

The Sun tends to energies whatever it touches and highlights and acts as a 'trigger' for some of the longer term energies that are around.  In this case, the Sun accentuates Saturn.

Because the aspect between the Sun and Saturn is a square, this suggests tension - but a turning point... sometimes the only way we get motivated enough to do something about a situation is when it annoys us enough to do something about it!  That situation that causes us enough annoyance is likely to be something or someone represented by Saturn in our birth charts (look to see where it is travelling, and also which houses have Capricorn or Aquarius on the cusp to get an idea).

As usual, look to see where this aspect is falling in your birth chart and which houses are ruled by the planets in order to get a feel for what, or who, may need a new attitude or approach.  If you have personal planets and/or points in Cancer and/or Libra then you are likely to feel this energy more than others.

New Moon and Solar Eclipse in Cancer...

on July 1 at 6.54pm in Kilmore at 9 degrees and 12 minutes of Cancer.

Wow... what a line-up!  This eclipse is very important in so many ways that it's hard to know where to start.

The first point, I think, is that this is a New Moon... always an opportunity for a fresh start in the area of life being represented by the house placement of it... in this case 9 degrees of Cancer.  I would even extend this theme to the house cusp with Cancer on it as well... for example you may have 27 degrees of Leo on the MC, placing this New Moon in your 10th... but you may then also have 26 degrees of Cancer on the 11th.  So, I would look at both the 10th and 11th in this case.

Being an eclipse, this is an exceptionally powerful lunation: and opportunity to really make tangible changes to your life because of the outer planet involvement (look at Uranus, Saturn and Pluto!). 

Those of you with personal points and/or planets in the cardinal signs (Aries, Cancer, Libra and/or Capricorn) may feel that events around this time shift the ground beneath your feet, and set you on a totally new life course.   This will be especially relevant if you have these placements within a few degrees either side of 9 degrees of the cardinal signs.
