Sagittarian Full Moon and Lunar Eclipse...

on June 16 at 6.14am in Kilmore.

This is the second eclipse in a series of three, so we are in the midst of a busy time!

First looking at this lunation simply as a Full Moon phase, this is usually a time of heightened emotions and awareness, and gives the opportunity for a new level of objectivity in the areas of life symbolised by the house placement of it within our birth charts.

Being a Lunar Eclipse simply magnifies these trends by about a billion! lol

So, look at where this Lunar Eclipse falls in your chart to get a feel for where you are about to be 'illuminated' through a realisation or other development.  Obviously, the house position will give you clues in regards to who or what may be part of the process.

Looking at the aspects, you can see that the Sun and Mercury are conjunct - this is nothing too unusual since they aren't usually that far apart, but they are pretty close.  This (to me, anyway!) suggests the need for change and/or flexibility in the areas represented by where the Sun/Mercury are, especially since they are in Gemini.

If you have personal planets/points in either Gemini or Sagittarius, then you are likely to be especially sensitive to this Lunar Eclipse.

Full Moon and Lunar Eclipse in Sagittarius...

on December 21 at 7.13pm in Kilmore.

The energies around us all during the period of a Full Moon are all more powerful, with emotions in particularly being heightened.  Since this is also a lunar eclipse, this is exceptionally true.

This lunation falls in the final degree of Sagittarius, giving this changeable Sagittarian Full Moon an even more unstable or uncertain feel to it.  It seems the key to achieving some sort of balance is in handling the Jupiter/Uranus conjunction that forms the focal point of this transiting T-Square.

By looking at this Jupiter/Uranus conjunction by house position, and also which houses they rule (Jupiter = Sagittarius and Pisces, Uranus = Aquarius) you can look at which areas of your life or which people may be pivotal to handling this Full Moon successfully.

Full Moon and Lunar Eclipse in Capricorn...

today in Kilmore at 9.30pm.

Intense times!  Have a look at the close conjunction of the eclipsed Moon with Pluto, and the Sun/Mercury conjunction.  This is all being tightly squared and further energised by the Jupiter/Uranus conjunction in the fiery Aries.

All of these aspects occur in cardinal signs... which are known for wanting to be boss: so symbolically it's almost as if there a too many chiefs in our lives wanted to run the show!

The key to balancing the energies around this eclipse is to carefully handle the energetic Jupiter/Uranus conjunction as this is likely to throw out the tension of the eclipse because it is the focal point of a potent t-square. It seems that we do need to take action (Aries), quickly (Uranus) but realistically in terms of our long term capabilities (Jupiter).

Those of you interested in the eclipse path and technical details can find there here.

Full Moon and Lunar Eclipse...

today in Kilmore at 6.13am at 10 degrees and 14 minutes of Cancer.  Eclipse path and technical data can be found here.

Wow, intense times - again!  You can see in the chart that this lunation includes the involvement of Venus and Pluto; and also Mercury retrograde with a very wide orb.  Saturn squares this lunation.

The period around a Full Moon is usually one of illumination and being able to view situations affected by it more objectively than usual... the eclipse further accentuates this.  For example, when there is no Full Moon imagine a dark room... the Full Moon is like putting on a 60 watt light and illuminating the room we are in... the eclipse is like switching on a 1000 watt globe for a second or two.  Obviously you would be temporarily blinded, but still get a powerful glimpse of what is really going on in that room you are in.  The contrasts would be harsh but obvious!

The room you are in could be likened to which houses are being affected by this lunar eclipse.  Look to see where it is falling to get an idea of where illumination is likely to occur.  There is a fair amount of debate regarding how long the eclipse affects us for.  Personally I think the effects are around for about a month either side of it, and also when the Sun or Mars travels through the same sign as the eclipses over the coming year.

This lunation/eclipse is likely to clearly show us where we need to change something (Saturn/Pluto square), and also who or what is supporting us (the involvement of Venus).

Full Moon and Lunar Eclipse...

today in Kilmore at 10.55am at 13 degrees and 43 minutes of Aquarius.

This is the last eclipse on the Leo/Aquarius axis that has been happening over the last couple of years, heralding the end of a strong focus on the areas of life represented by the houses that these signs fall in.

So, this eclipse to me in a broad sense suggests that we all have the chance to sort out some loose ends as we move into a new eclipse cycle (which started last month) on the Cancer/Capricorn axis.

Full Moon/Lunar Eclipse...

today in Kilmore at 7.21pm at 15 degrees and 24 minutes of Capricorn.

Full Moon's are always a pretty energetic time, and this one is also likely to be a serious one as well with the Capricorn flavour added to it. Added to the dynamic of this Full Moon is also the Lunar Eclipse... so watch for the 15th degree of Cancer and Capricorn in your birth chart for clues for how you may experience this Lunar Eclipse.

There are a few theories in how to understand the nature of eclipses, I see them as periods of intense illumination... in the case of Lunar ones these are likely to be periods of emotional understanding being reached in the areas represented by the planets and houses involved in your birth chart with the actual Lunar Eclipse axis.

Lunar Eclipse... (Full Moon as well)...

today at 12.59am in Kilmore.

This eclipse falls on 20 degrees of Leo/20 degrees of Aquarius... if you have any significant points or planets at these degrees then this eclipse will be especially important for you.

Eclipses are an important time of 'illumination' and highlight the areas of life represented by where the eclipse touches your birth chart.

If you want the technical data and visibility info you can go here. People in Australia will be able to view it.
